MGM later acquired the property and dealt with the loss of the Siegfried and Roy show, ushering in the "Love" Beatles show by Cirque De Solei. Then they spiraled the property into a Wall Street gamble and the property wound up bunched in a realty trust. MGM was also the manager of the hotel and decided that they wanted to focus on newer venues. They sold their lease agreement contract to Hard Rock International in 2021 and questions have lingered as to what Hard Rock plans to add to the property, and what they play to take away.
