Where is the Annie's Slot Canyon Trail Located: Located a bit north of San Diego in Solana Beach, the trail is just a few minutes off the 5 freeway. There are multiple trailheads that meet at the slot canyon. The 2 primary ones are The Solana Hills Trail which starts on the east end, and the Gemma Parks Interpretive Trail on the west end. Both are roughly the same distance to Annie’s Slot Canyon. Annie’s Canyon Trail is a great hike for families, with a unique slot canyon and ladders that adults and kids will love.
