How to Install Fence Panels into Concrete Slotted Fence Posts and 2 TOP TIPS. In this Fencing video I will show you how to fit a fence panel into concrete fence posts, this is fitting the fence panels into slotted concrete fence posts. I'll show you 2 top tips, first how to make it easier to slot down the fence panels and second how to secure the fence panels onto concrete fence posts that have crumbled and lost the groove. This Fences video assumes you have concrete fence posts already installed and only shows you how to erect a fence with concrete posts already present. Broken fence panels should be replaced for your own privacy. If your fence panel has blown down this will help. Installing or replacing fence panels is a fairly easy task for a competent DIY person and with anything like this, many hands make light work! Make sure you do this on a day where there is not a breath of wind. Fence panels will expand and move in the wind and when we tighten them it will allow some flexing.
